Our Story

Atria first began in 1993 as a plant shop under a different name. Opened by Bruce and Joanne Crowle out of Cheshire, CT, business soon bloomed into an interior plant design company known as Atria Inc. For over 30 years, Bruce and Joanne fostered a deeply rooted community, growing connections and providing plant care solutions to clients all over New England. Under their leadership, Atria became the first company in the country to receive Platinum status from the Green Certification Program offered by Green Earth-Green Plants. Their commitment to sustainability is now reflected in their son Adam Crowle and his wife Leila, a loving couple serving as the second generation of Atria interiorscape designers. Along with their family and hard-working horticultural team, Adam and Leila are here to welcome a new season of the business with a culture motivated by creativity and compassion.
